- Do I have to know HTML?
If you use one of the compatible hosts, you do not. The webhosts all have a built-in Content Management System (CMS) where you can edite your web pages, manage your products and add categories. They also provide great tutorials to help you out.
- I have images I would like to use. Can you implement these?
Unfortunately I can't add your images to my OOAK premade website designs or auction templates. I might however be able to use them in a custom design order.
- Will it be compatible with all browsers and screen sizes?
Yes, it will. I test my designs in Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera, Safari, and Internet Explorer. If you do happen to see something that doesn't look right, you can always contact me of course. My designs are never wider then 1000 pixels unless requested(Not recommended). Nobody likes scrolling horizontally.
- Will you set it up for me, or will I have to do it myself?
Yes, I will set up any of the premade website designs with any of the compatible hosts. If you purchased a custom design order, the set-up is included.
- What do I need to do after I purchase a website design?
After you purchase a design from Design by the Pixel, you will have have to let me know your FTP and storeadmin login information for your website that is hosted with one of my compatible webhosts.
- How long does it take to install my website design?
It all depends on how fast you send me the FTP and storeadmin information and if if you even have a hosting account set up. But generally I am able to set up your website within 2 business days after the sale.
- How much does the average website cost?
Custom website design from Design by the Pixel varies in price from usually $800-$1000 at this time depending on the complexity of the project. Sites with complicated and numerous designs as well as sites with more involved flash animation can be more than what is quoted above, because of the extra work involved. Custom site design includes a website design created for your business by Design by the Pixel according to your specifications.
- When someone goes to a search engine looking for my product, will my website show up on the first page?
Your site isn't going to show up right away on seach engines. It will take at least a month for your site to appear. It also depeds on the quality of information you give on your website. What you also could do is exchanging links/banners with other websites. Nowadays being a part of Social Networking is a MUST. Snyone and their Grandmother have a Facebook page, Twitter account and visit blogs. Another great community to use is LinkedIn. Combine all of these together and you've got a great start to grow your business.
- Do you offer a return policy?
Based on the nature of these products, I do not offer a return policy unless you exidently purchased the wrong design and/or template.
- Which website hosting companies are best to use?
The two hosts that I recommend the most are www.Pappashop.com and www.Shoppepro.com. Their customer service is excellent based on my own experience.
- What kind of follow up service do you offer once my website is published?
I will always be here to answer any questions and/or concerns you might have. I also keep copies of the designs I have made incase you ever mess up the coding while trying out some HTML yourself or if you have a computer malfunction. You never know.
